As a business owner, you know how hard it is to get new customers. Your business has to be up and running in order to get new customers.

Asking for reviews is one of the most important ways of getting new customers. The importance of customer review is so crucial because customers can help you increase your sales. Also, customer review can help other customers to make the right decision when purchasing your products or services.

Customers can also give you feedback on your product and service and this will be useful to improving your business. If you ask for customer review, you will be able to improve your business and the sales will increase as well.

When it comes to asking for customer review, there is one thing that every business owner should note; asking for reviews at the right time can help your business to thrive.

The reason why it is important to ask for customer reviews at the right time is because asking too early may make the customers nervous; this can lead to fewer sales or no sales at all. Meanwhile, if you’re asking too late, it can also be a bad move because customers have already forgotten about your product or service, and feel reluctant to review something they have purchased a long time ago.

Asking for a customer review at the right time will make your customers happy, and they will feel comfortable sharing their opinions. They will also be able to enjoy their experience when they purchase your products or services. This will be a great way of showing your appreciation for the customers’ loyalty and commitment to your business. Here are the two most common times to ask for a customer review:

Immediate Review

When you ask for an immediate review from your customers, it means that you want your customers to give you a review as soon as possible. It is an excellent idea to ask for an immediate review. This is because, customers will feel obligated to give you a review and will be able to do so within a short period of time. You can do this by sharing a link with your customer and asking them to give their feedback before completing their purchase.

7 to 30 Days Post Purchase Review

This is one of the preferred methods for e-commerce companies to ask for customer review. It is an excellent idea to ask for a review at least 7 days after your customers have made their purchase. This is because customers will feel more comfortable and will be able to give you a detailed review about your product or service after purchasing and using it. They will also be able to share their experience and help other customers.

Now, once you have figured out the methods used to ask for customer review, it is important to know when is the appropriate and effective time to send the review requests.

Most customers usually check their socials, emails, and e-commerce applications during their lunch breaks, or after they finish their work. That’s why, the best time to send your review requests would be from 2:00 to 3:00 PM or from 6:00 to 7:00 PM.

Sending the requests at the right time will minimize the chances of customers deleting the request and also, customers will be able to complete their review before leaving for the night.

Conclusion

There are many ways to ask for a customer review, but it is essential to know when it is the right time to ask for a customer review. You can either ask for an immediate review or 7 to 30 days post purchase review. It is important to note that asking for customer review at the right time will help your business thrive and also, increase your sales.
